Dr. Nazim Merchant, voted one of Orlando’s Finest Doctors 2014, is a Board Certified practicing physician with over 37 years experience. He graduated in 1978 from Pune, India, MBBS (Masters in General Surgery) and was a practicing surgeon from 1982-1990. Dr. Merchant joined Brookdale Hospital, New York in 1993 where he completed his pediatric residency. Here, he was selected Outstanding PLI Resident and named Chief Resident.

After moving to Orlando, Florida, Dr. Merchant opened his private practice in 1998, providing full-service care for patients from newborns to 18 years of age. With preventative care as his primary focus, Dr. Merchant and his team of highly trained doctors and staff offer an environment of exceptional care and professionalism, treating every patient with the utmost respect and compassion.

In 1999, Dr. Merchant and his wife, Pareen, brought their shared vision to life by opening Sanctuary Salon & Med Spa — a retreat where clients could be pampered beyond expectations.
