How much time will the treatment take?

Keratin treatments can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on the length and thickness of the hair.

What should I do after my Keratin treatment?

Aftercare is crucial to ensure effectiveness of your Keratin treatment. You must wait 72 hours before you can shampoo your hair and your hair must remain straight and dry throughout this time. It is also important to know that salt water or chlorinated water may reduce the effectiveness of your keratin treatment. It is therefore recommended that prior to going into the pool or ocean, you apply leave-in conditioner in your hair.

Can I color my hair?

Yes! Color treatments can be done prior to a Keratin treatment and will help seal in the color which will result in a longer lasting color.

Who can get Keratin treatments?

Keratin treatments work on a wide variety of hair textures including African American and all ethnic hair types that tend to be unmanageable, frizzy or curly. Keratin treatments are not recommended for hair that is extremely fragile or has been severely damaged from too much bleaching. It is important to know that Keratin treatments are not recommended for pregnant or nursing women.

Are Keratin treatments safe?
